Signifly, the award-winning Scandi digital studio founded in Copenhagen, has appointed Jonathan Goldmacher as Managing Director in London. The business has made its presence in London a top priority and this move follows the recent relocation of co-founder and Group CEO, Michael Valentin.
Jonathan brings over two decades of leadership experience from the world’s biggest creative and technology agencies – from building and scaling client services at R/GA during its Agency of the Year run, to launching MullenLowe New York, and most recently leading a 400-person creative and media business at Valtech across three continents.
With a North American presence established in Canada, Jonathan’s focus will be positioning London for its next phase of growth and connecting the dots between Europe, the UK, and the US in order to deliver even more value for multinational clients.
“What drew me to Signifly was a combination that’s extremely hard to find – serious design DNA, genuine technical depth, and a real appetite for both early-stage founders and established global brands. There aren’t many places with a high bar for taste where you get to work across that full range. And in the middle of an AI revolution, that’s exactly where I want to be.”
– Jonathan Goldmacher, Managing Director, Signifly London
His arrival builds on what’s already in motion.
Earlier this year, co-founder and Group CEO Michael Valentin relocated to London to get closer to the action. Since then, the team has been delivering brand elevation, digital products, and growth marketing for clients in luxury, energy, technology and professional services.
“AI is the talk of the town right now, but the agencies that will matter are the ones that combine it with real creative and strategic craft. Jonathan brings that combination – tech fluency, creative instinct, and the hands-on experience to help us shape our next generation of offerings.”
– Michael Valentin, Group CEO and co-founder, Signifly
